Vikings Calm The Buffalo Stampede

A close game GEFA league game was played yesterday in Everett, with the MoValley Vikings coming out with a win 54-41 over the undefeated Bedford Buffaloes. Moving the Vikings record to 4-1 as well as the buffaloes record to 4-1. Antawane Davis had another serious game through the air where he showed even more improvement with over 160 yards and 4 TDs in the sky. Sean Steave had his best game of the season, while hauling in over 80 yards and 2 TDs.
But the day belonged to bell cow Running back Devin Clark who bullied and punished any defenders who dared trying to tackle him to the tune of over 80 yards and 3 TDs on the ground. In regard to the game Coach Thor Marlow said, "We came into Everett knowing we were facing a disciplined and well coached team. My guys responded well and despite having a few guys out due to injury we were able to put together a great game and came out with the victory."
Bedford came into the game very confident for good reason, their vaunted triple option offense was able to put up 41 on a very very stingy defensive group, that got a monster game from Stevie Eisenhuth who contributed a clutch 4th down sack in the later stages in the game that really helped ice the game out. Next week the Vikings again are away at the Snyder County Spartans, who sport a 2-3 record.
