Cyclones Legacy

April 7, 2023 GEFA Staff

LANCASTER - The Great Eastern Football Association has witnessed many great teams throughout its history, but few have been as dominant and consistent as the Lancaster County Cyclones. Since their establishment in 2009, the Cyclones have been a force to be reckoned with, compiling an impressive overall record of 102-33 and a postseason record of 25-6. Led by owner Brent Melhorn, the Cyclones have won ten division titles, eight conference championships, and six Keystone Bowl titles.

The Cyclones' success can be attributed to their strong culture of teamwork and dedication to excellence. From the players to the coaching staff, everyone involved with the organization is committed to achieving greatness on and off the field. This commitment has been evident in the team's consistent success over the years, as they have maintained their status as one of the best teams in the Great Eastern Football Association.

One of the hallmarks of the Cyclones' success has been their potent offense, which has consistently put up impressive numbers throughout the years. Led by a talented group of skill position players and a strong offensive line, the Cyclones have been able to score points in bunches and put pressure on opposing defenses. Defensively, the Cyclones have been just as impressive, with a stout front seven and a ball-hawking secondary that has consistently generated turnovers.

The Cyclones' success has not gone unnoticed, as they have become a well-respected organization both within the Great Eastern Football Association and beyond. Their consistent success on the field has led to numerous accolades and recognition, including multiple Coach of the Year awards and All-League selections. In addition, several Cyclones players have gone on to play at the collegiate level, a testament to the high level of talent and coaching within the organization.

Looking ahead, the Cyclones are poised to continue their dominance in the Great Eastern Football Association. With a talented roster and a winning culture, the Cyclones are well-positioned to add to their impressive trophy case in the coming seasons. And with owner Brent Melhorn at the helm, there is no doubt that the Cyclones will continue to be a class act both on and off the field.
