Buffs Pull Away From Tomahawks

A slug fest between GEFA Mountain Conference foes went down, as the Mifflin County Tomahawks (5-2) went on the road southwest Saturday afternoon to Everett to take on the Bedford County Buffaloes (6-1).

Weather conditions at game time called for a cloudy, gloomy, rainy day, but with the 10 game season coming to an end & playoffs in the balance, it boiled down to who wanted it more, costly mistakes by the Tomahawks in key situations and a few unfavorable referee calls not going their way meant the end of the road, the Buffaloes with their balanced running and passing attack ended up being too much for the Tomahawks to handle. the Buffs took care of business with the home field win 44-57 and added another win in the standings.
